Creative group fitness classes lead by Rachele Maier. Located in NOTA area of Rochester NY. Class sizes are usually small 5-10 people. Are you ready to try a new workout? Did you know pole dancing is now a sport? Save time, all classes are cardio & strength training combined in a creative way that it will feel more like a night out with friends. The studio offers special workshops too. Classes are enrolling now. Daytime classes on Saturday.

Intro to Aerial fitness level 1. Silks(Ribbons/Tissue) & straps, Aerial as a workout with roll-ups, static poses, easy drops & flips when you are ready. The class instruction will include basic arm wraps, back wraps, foot locks, hip keys, strength training & climbs. New Classes: Lyra hoop & Trappahoop Find your inner child & workout in a fun way. Trappahoop is a trapeze & a Lyra hoop together. A great way to gain strength for the Silks/Ribbons.
Intro to Pole Dancing & Aerial Fitness The Sampler class (level 1) Intro to Silks These classes are combined with trappahoop, lyra hoop & Intro to Pole dancing. Get ready to build muscle, gain flexibility, & lose weight. Strength training in a unique workout. Sexy floor warmup, floor moves, pole tricks & Intro to Aerial is a great way for beginners to practice harder pole moves.
Acro Pole & Aerial Fitness (intermediate) Our level 2 class Pole dancing is changing into acrobatics. We work on strength, ballance, & flexibility. Students at this level are working on Acrobatics using the pole and silks, lyra & trappahoop Prerequisites: level 1 (5-15 weeks)
Introduction to Pole fitness 101 (beginner) level 1. Our Intro to Pole 101, is recommended for people new to pole dancing. We focus Aerobics & Acrobatic aspect of Pole dancing as a workout. Gaining strength by climbing, base pole tricks, combinations, & gaining the strength to safely invert. Students move to the New level 2 where basic inverts are taught. Intro to Pole 101 level 1 was created to keep new people together so more experienced students are not held back. This class enables students to join Tangent's Pole & Aerial at any time, instead of waiting for the next class to start. New basic skills test for students who have taken classes elsewhere. Test your ability to see if your ready for the next level.
The Art of Pole/Aerial Acro Level 2 & up Follow Rachele through 20 plus years of creative pole work. The Art of Pole allows advanced students to reach their full potential. Advanced inversions, combinations, mounts, and graceful transitions will be taught. Complex Spins, the Silks & other Aerial apparatuses will spice things up add to the fun! There is always more to learn, practice, and improve upon. In The Art of Pole, the sky is the limit! We can assist you in learning any move you wish to learn, but remember it takes time and practice!
